If you clicked the link to this page then you are probably curious to learn a little bit about who I am. My name is Maeve and I have loved movies since before I can remember. I also love all things that have to do with God, Religion, and the Spirit. In college I took comparative religion classes, philosophy classes, and attended services at Buddhist and Hindu Temples as well as various Protestant & Catholic Churches, and even Quaker Meetings.
I became a Bahá’í on September 27, 2005 and it has changed my life. It led me to Tanzania where I taught Geography at a Bahá’í run school. I am now studying Library and Information Science and hope some day to serve as a Librarian or Archivist at the World Centre in Haifa, Israel.
These two passions, film and faith, led me to start this blog, but I have other passions including traveling, both domestically and internationally, and of course my family. I have a sister and a brother and they can both make me smile just by being who they are. I have two wonderful parents who support me, and a dog named Jack who enjoys looking out the window from my bed.
I hope you have enjoyed this little window into my world and look forward to glimpses of yours.
I love the picture!
Thanks for the comment- from this you seem like a very interesting person =)
Glad you like the pic! I found it rummaging through so old things and thought it would be appropriate
I ran into your website on accident but I am so glad I did! Thank you for making it! I have been waiting to meet a person who leaves recommendations for foreign film movies and I love all your recommendations and quotations! Youve made me a happy person!
very good picture and a very cute model which i love to see. Good to stumble your website. Lot of info i can get. Thanks
I think you and I would get along quite nicely! : ) Thanks for stopping by my blog; I’ll be stopping by yours more often now!
Wow, that is a fabulous blog you have set up here. Thanks for linking me from imdb. I have thought of joining the Baha’i faith myself a few times. My parents brought me up to learn and respect all forms of faith, so it’s great to see someone else who feels the same. I’m currently in film school to become a director. Keep up the blogging!
Wow! Thanks for the validation
That is so exciting that you are becoming a director. When you make movies send them my way. I would love to review them
Films that inspire, educate and provoke thought are wonderful, aren’t they? Independent filmmakers often provide the best material.
